Armstrong Powerhouse presents its second scenario pack for the Wherry Lines: Norwich to Great Yarmouth & Lowestoft Route. Featuring 13 scenarios, this pack focuses on the final year of DRS class 47 operation on this route (June 2014 to June 2015). As well as the familiar ’short set‘ services using mk2 coaches, this pack features the famous summer Saturday ‚drags‘ between Norwich & Great Yarmouth. Formed of a class 90/mk3/DVT set, these services were hauled by class 47 locomotives for this leg of the journey, so as to provide a direct service from London to Great Yarmouth. With a run round procedure at Great Yarmouth and shunting at Norwich, these scenarios are sure to keep you on your toes and offer a feel of proper railway operations.

In these scenarios, we’ve strived for realism in all areas. For example, each scenario represents actual workings from the working timetable to create an as realistic experience as possible. As well as this, prototypical formations are used with most services having their headcode, time of leaving, origin and destination as their name so you can see which train is which!
